my dad never fails to wow me with his superb culinary skills.

not forgetting, plating is as important.

a very happy me. felt so much love. dad worked till so late ynight but woke up early early morning just to get the ingredients from the wet market.

the yums to max ngoh hiang (chinese interpretation of meatballs!) and ha chiong kai (prawn paste chicken wings). He marinated the wings since ynight. the ngoh hiang is the one that takes the MOST effort. he has to chop the ingredients – meat, water chestnut, prawn, carrot and i dunno what else. then season them, wrap them in beancurd skin, coat with dunno what again and deep fry.
