We went on the last day of the fair. Thought it’d be flooded, but on the contrary, it wasn’t as packed as we imagine it to b. Perhaps it was early still.
Helping each other take pictures.
There were so much going on in the background.
There was this train rail around the indoor garden and LY got obsessed taking pictures of them.
And I was intrigued by this huge tree mascot! It was super real-like, though if i’m kid, i’d have freaked out.
Some pumpkin-carving in action as Halloween was around the corner.
We saw pretty plants. I love the texture of these leaves, super velvet-ishy.
The State Fair was a HUGE fun fair, like 100x SG equivalent of Pasar Malam.
There’s this ladder climbing game. You get to win a prize if you manage to climb up the stairs. This looks SO easy but trust me, for the duration we were there, nobody was even close to winning it.
And food. Very american food like corny dog, funnel cake, turkey leg and etc.
Rides! Some of it looking similar to what we have in SG.
Hello Mr Policeman, looking good and “xing nang” (in hokkien) ah!
You know what, they have animals too!
Guess what’s this?
That’s a turkey!
Sorry for a lousy picture, it was crowded and I was standing really close to the cage.
This is a cow and a really expensive one, sold for $102,000!
There were performances too. LY and I caught a circus show while JS and Ju watched an animal show.
Some candies before we end the post (:
We left before it turned dark.. though it’d be nice to see the lights come on at night.
